I was standing almost in the treatment pond when all the ducks went up in a single swoosh. Coming right at me was a bald eagle who flew over, around once and out. Happy New Year!

A flock of lesser goldfinches flew into a tree beside my pond. This male beauty was extracting seeds from this thistle like flower.
